    Description

    Offered is this scarce handmade teak wood blanket chest lined with aromatic sandalwood. The chest is adorned with with hand inlaid mother-of-pearl representing bambo foliage. Overall it 44" tall, 40" wide, and 20" deep. The top chest has a sliding sandlewood tray with the makers signature in pencil. There is no damage, cracks, chips, or dry rot..very solid. Beautiful patinia and workmanship. We noticed actual remnants of teak wood shavings in the base. This is truly a unique and precious piece.
