  • Condition: Chest was purchased from an antique dealer in Chicago about 75 years ago. We believe it dates back to around 1824. The lamp, mirror and other items shown with the Chest in the first picture are NOT included in this sale. But, there is a 1/4" thick heavy piece of beveled glass shown on the top of the Chest, cut to fit but can be removed, which is included in the sale. The exterior of the Chest is covered with fruitwood veneer, and it is still in very good condition. And, there are mother of pearl keyhole decorations around each drawer keyhole, with one small piece missing from the middle drawer keyhole decoration, as well as a couple of small pieces of fruitwood veneer which are also missing from the chest, one from the front and one from the side. Used in private residence since it was purchased. Can be viewed at owner's residence at 816 Frederick Court in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Buyer responsible for sales taxes at their end. See photos.

    This Chest was purchased from an antique dealer in Chicago about 75 years ago, and we believe it
